Price Sheet – Audio Recording
Studio Recording Fee:
Studio recording time is charged at $100 per hour, billable in half hour increments. There is a minimum studio charge of one hour ($100.00).
Please note that our studio is used for audio recording & editing, video recording & editing, and teaching. The studio will be configured to your needs prior to your arrival. However, this takes time. If you cannot make your scheduled time, and you fail to notify us at least 24 hours in advance, we will impose a minimum studio fee of one hour to cover the time to set-up the studio for you.
Sound Check
We want you to be happy with the quality of the recording and so we allow up to 30 minutes for a sound check at no charge. (Typically this only takes 10 to 15 minutes).
Time in excess of 30 minutes will be charged at regular studio rates.
Additional Studio Charges:
If we rent additional equipment such as microphones, or purchase sound tracks, etc. for your recording session, we charge them back at cost + 20%.
Editing:
Our standard editing fee is $100 per hour, billable in half hour increments.
Output:
We use ProTools for audio editing. Audio can be output as a Protools .ptx file, a .wav file, an .mp3 file, or an .aiff file compatible with printing a CD. Other formats are available. Please inquire prior to your recording session.
Changes:
Changes to content, editing, etc, may involve additional cost. Please tell us as clearly as you can what you are looking for, and we’ll do our best to ensure that’s what you receive.
CD Production:
We are capable of producing and packaging your CDs in quantities of up to 250. We print our CDs on high quality Taiyo Yuden Watershield CDs. Graphics services, including barcode, are also available. Ask us for details if you are looking for a cost effective option to turn your CD into a physical product.
Payment:
Payment for the recording session is due at the conclusion of the session. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Debit.
Unless other arrangements have been made, we also require a credit card to hold on file to cover editing charges, which are billed monthly on the first of the month, for charges accumulated during the preceding month. A statement will be issued prior to charging your card.
