World Sound Healing Day.
There will be a toning circle in Calgary to support World Sound Healing Day from 9 am to noon on Feb. 14. Jonathan Goldman started this event 7 years ago. This is the 4th year Calgarians have joined in the event.
Jonathan Goldman: "This February 14th we will be celebrating the 7th World Sound Healing Day! This is a day when people throughout the planet sound together for planetary peace and healing at 12 noon Eastern time, as well as throughout the day."
All are welcome. There is no charge for this event - just come with a heart and a voice that wants to help heal the planet. If you feel you would like to give back in some way, please bring a donation for the Calgary Food Bank.
This event is a sacred ceremony. Once the toning has started, there will be no talking - just sound. Please feel free to join us part way through the morning if you cannot be there for the whole morning. We ask that you respect the ceremony and enter or leave in silence.

Location: Glamorgan Community Association, 4207 - 41st. Ave. SW, Calgary, AB.
Park on the left (east) side of the building, enter the side door and go downstairs.
Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Please arrive between 8:30 and 8:50 am. We will be starting at 9:00 am sharp.
This is a ceremony of sacred sound for the earth. There will be no talking once the toning has started. Toning will continue from 9:00 am to 12:05 noon. Please bring lots of water, wear layers, bring a blanket and a snack if you feel you will need one. There will be chairs there, but you are welcome to bring a backjack or pillow for sitting on the floor if you prefer. There will be enough people to keep the toning going so that you can rest your voice when needed.
